4 bags of resin kit in each batch.

Same type of machine – just different names.

A forced action mixer has paddles inside of it that help to mix the materials together. The paddles are attached to a shaft, which is turned by a motor. The speed of the motor can be varied, depending on how fast you need the mixer to work – depending on the material you are mixing.

The F200 takes 6 bags of resin kit and is popular with companies who decant their own hardener and resin.

Check the power supply for issues:-

  • It should be connected to a transformer at the mains, 32amps lead from the transformer to the machine, less than 15 metres in length.
  • A 16 amp extension reel is not suitable.
  • Check for a build-up of resin on the mixer blades, and the centre column. This will cause the machine to labour and potentially strain your motor and cause electrical issues.

Your mixer should be cleaned a little and often.

  • Ideally clean your drum with a xylene cloth every two mixes.
  • All cleaning must be undertaken prior to the resin curing.
  • If you allow a build-up of resin on the mixer blades, and centre column this will cause your machine to be laboured which will strain the motor and potentially lead to electrical faults.

Hard stone on the Mohs scale will cause your blades to wear down quicker.

The main difference is the F-series has 4 arms and E-series 3 arms.
